We do take special orders to be shipped, or picked up in Batesville, or at events.

We now have Shatten Design pick ups and preamps available on our dulcimers. These are superior to our previous offerings.

FACT: Any MMD may be ordered left-handed at no additional cost.

FACT: MMD builds instruments with 3 or 4 equi-distant strings.

FACT: Due to the popularity of the 1 1/2 and the 8 1/2, many MMD’s are built with these additional frets. Any MMD may be ordered with or without these additional frets.

FACT: MMD’s standard VSL is 27”. We do build a few 25.5” VSL instruments.
